When We Collide...

Did it ever occur to you
that you thought you’re done,
everything was over,
there was no you and her anymore…
then one day, you met her
she smiled at you…
you didn’t know what to say
nor what to do…
you just exclaimed to yourself,
“DAMN IT, I STILL LOVE HER!”
That was the first SMS I’ve read in the morning. Well it was originally sent in Pinoy slang, I just translated it to my own. And I was still half asleep and half awake. I checked it again that night discovering it was from my ex. I’ve received another one, then another, all three from him. Then the thought sank in to me, yeah I’ve met him three days ago outside the movie house, when “New Moon” fever hit the cinemas. LOL And yeah, I’ve smiled at him...It was just a smile.
After a moment of sigh and wonder, he called me…the bottom line, he wants a catch up, ok a date. Turned him down.
The thing is, I left it all closed between us. I mean, as much as I would want to feel the fireworks, I can’t just feel a thing. Well at least missing his friendship. And my heart beats to someone else. And we are sort of in a relationship. Well, we were…the sad part, we called it off few minutes ago as I write this hub.
The crazy part is, I’m wondering if I would one day end up sending that SMS to the one I love right now. Well that is indeed crazy to think because my baby lives in another corner of the world. Our roads are far away to meet.
One moment I was fallin’…the next I am crying…
Somebody misses me…but I’m missing someone else…

Then when would be the perfect time when two persons love each other?
Perhaps, when you say you love me…then I'd love you, too.
Then you and I collide.

Mmmmm, timing is everything isn't it. I enjoyed this.
The ex you love must be a real fool to of let someone like you go and i bet they'll kick their butt later too. I think this guy that you met, give him a chance.. he might make you much happier and give you everything you want, unlike the ex you describe as being on the other side of the world.

The funny thing is that it isn't until a person is finally okay with being alone and meets another person whom they feel an affinity for that is also okay when alone that a true meeting of the minds can happen.
This I have learned the hard way.
That spark once felt for the ex? I've got that same thing going on...
Can't go home again. But forgive yourself and each other and keep your heart open, because you just never know what life will bring...there is always hope for love...

We cause ourselves such pain when we try second-guessing what we ought to do, say or feel. We over analyse. I know I do. Our hearts and minds conflict with each other and "dissagree". Human beings are so complicated. I think we always have too many choices...
Just some random thoughts...
Yea complicated always strikes..but just like I've said, life cant be beautiful without complications ;) Yea so many options but it's not always so easy to choose..

Love can cause a lot of pain. When we find us soul mate is steel hurt sometimes. Love is so beautiful and can be so complicated sometimes. I think patience is the word that go with love. You are a very good writer. Wish you all the best. God Bless you my dear friend.:)
