Hearts are often broken
By words left unspoken
For a moment I forgot bout my heart jumping out my chest for something killing me coz now another thing was bugging me…where did I read or hear those words… I could so freaking relate. I hate it when you try to recall something and you can hardly remember…it bugs you insanely until you recall everything completely.
Sigh…
P Place was fully packed. My friends were halfway to being intoxicated. I promised myself to just have three shots of vodka and I’m done. Hell, make it four coz it’s apple…
“Oh, Blaise sweetie, you’re here!” A gorgeous friend of mine greeted me.
It’s not like once in a blue moon that I go there, but they all know why I go there. They know what it means. Though these people go there like duh it’s home. They’re my friends, and I’m a friend who doesn’t contradict, just supports. I mean, it’s their lives, they breathe the air they breathe. And they’re freaking old enough.
Watching them dancing and going crazy changed my mood a bit. The club’s magic…makes anyone forgets what she has to forget.
“Taste this tequila, honey…it makes sweet dreams.” My best friend, Ana, offered me.
“Whoa, hot!”
Tonight was different. I wasn’t there upset nor had a little LQ. Tonight was badly heartbreaking because tonight everything was over. I was signing off to being attached. Well at least it’s what I know for now.
“What’s your request for tonight, hon?” Ana asked while scribbling something in a white little paper.
“So sick of love songs, I dunno.”
“Neyo’s?!”
“Nah! Ok, put in there Brown Eyes by Lady Gaga. So everyone will sit for a while.” I said sounding funny.
Moments later, the band played my request…
In your brown eyes …I walked away…In your brown eyes…Couldn't stay…
Nice song, it was squeezing my heart line by line. Everyone was swaying their hands in the air. I just stayed there standing still, letting the music stab me deep inside…and then someone in my back wrapped his hands on my waist.
“I love you. I want my babies have your brown eyes.” His lips murmured in my ear.
That voice…I could die tonight without hearing it.
“I love you…I’m sorry.” I uttered.
I know he’s the one…
The one…
That they say…
There's always gonna be that one person that no matter how long it's been or how badly they've treated you, if they say I love you,,,you'll always say it back...
