Stargazer – Peachy’s Back Seat

Her fingertips across mine

They crawled gently in my hand

Tingles rising my spine

So close, I breathed her scent

I dunno what I was doin then

I finally

looked at her..

and I don’t wanna look at her..

Stacey grasped my head

Her lips glossing mine

Before I look away again…

Monday seemed like a whole week. At least that was my first thought when I woke up. But really I was lying. Coz I could smell her lavender scent on me. Her bubblegum cherry lip gloss lingered on my lips. Stacey. I uttered without a sound.

It was already 3 pm. Obviously, I was the last one who got up. I found Peachy in her kitchen eating like a cow. “If for another five minutes and you’re still not up, I’d think you had sex last night.” She greeted me.

“You’re still drunk I think.” I said assuming casualness. Did Peachy see Stacey and me last night on the porch? I thought.

“Where’s Stacey?” I asked when I grabbed a bagel.

“She drove home to get her things. We’re going to the beach. We’re leaving tonight, Sleepy Jewel.” She said as if it was only a reminder.

I knew we had plans to go to the beach this month but I didn’t know it’d be tonight. I supposed it’s perfect because now Stacey would be with us. Besides, Peachy could take us anywhere anytime coz she’s got the Blacks. She’s got this Black and White themed condo unit and it has twins somewhere else . Got that fabulous black Audi. And that frickin Black Card. Ow, I wonder if Blackberry has given her a loyalty award.

I was about to finish my chicken pasta when Peachy opened the oven. “Wow, choco muffins!” I cheered savoring the muffinness aroma. She snatched a bite and left one on my plate. She hurried to the doorway. “Where you goin?” I called.

“Shower. Wanna join me and save some water?” She teased.

“No, I want these muffins.” I LOLed.

Peach and I were crazy besties. You must know that by now since you’re reading my Stargazer series. This is like the sixth one right? lol If you know, means you’re enjoying it..er loving my series and I thank you blazingly. So anyway, Peachy left me and went grocery-shopping. I packed up my things while she’s gone then showered then read some of my crush’s poetry while waiting for the two ladies. In the middle of a poem, Stacey crossed my mind. Flashback of last night has closed my eyes and swung me to trance…

I was brought back to room 908 when I heard some giggles. The girls were back. “Let’s go, Jewel.” Peachy hollered in. After some eight footsteps or so, Stacey embraced me. Her scent…yummier than vanilla. “Feels like I missed you so much.” She whispered to my ear.

“Likewise.” I told her. We then proceeded to the car.

Peachy was driving smoothly just like her mellow music. One of the best things about being on a car on a late night trip is listening to mellow music and watching the bokeh lights outside the window. I was sitting at the back seat, Stacey on the left side. I don’t wanna look at her coz I might lose myself again…So I tried to stick my gaze outside the car’s window. She switched a position. I looked at Peachy casually feeling my neck stiffed. Stacey’s high wedges almost touching mine now. I stretched out my arms hinting to nap. She moved closer to me. I thought she would snuggle down and sleep with me. But she just sat there…drooling over me. So close that our perfume mixed together. So close that I couldn’t think of anything else except one of the best things about being on a car on a late night trip…

Peachy was driving smoothly and I couldn’t remember what music was playing or what was she thinking. All I cared was Stacey…driving me insane. Her kisses were wild fire flaming all my engines. At that moment I knew I’d kiss what she leaks…

Peachy pulled over the car. I was kinda expecting she’d leave us or give us time or tease us and we all laugh it all off. But she unstoppably opened the door and kissed Stacey. Stunned, Stacey smiled at her and asked what was that for. “I wanna know what Jewel’s lips taste like.” She said grinning at me.

Stacey stared at me smiling like crazy. I looked at her…and I wanna look at her…coz then I found myself.
