Interview with a Two Timer

It's hard to be cheated by someone we love. But did it ever occur to you that being the cheater could be harder?

My best friend Kyle and I met two days ago and had some coffee. I knew that something was up coz he only treats me with my favorite frap when he wants to tell a serious part of him. lol

Some things in our conversation hit me so I'm sharing it with you.

Me: Caught you! You better start telling me what's bothering you or I would ask another grande of this frap.

Kyle: Whew, could never hide something from you, ha?

Me: Yup yup.

Kyle: That's it. I have something that I can't hide anymore...I mean, at least with you.

Me: I'm getting afraid.

Kyle: I wanna tell someone. I wanna tell it at least to you coz you're my best friend. I can't let anyone else know this especially Kate. (Kyle's long time girlfriend)

Me: You know you can trust me.

Kyle: I know. And I know you could even be mad at me for this but I need you now more than ever.

Me: I am listening.

Kyle: Ok...I am cheating on Kate. I'm a two timer.

Me: Hell no!

Kyle: Call me bad or whatever but I really am.

Me: How'd you do that?! You've been 4 years together. Why?

Kyle: Even I didn't know. I loved Kate and I still do. But I've met this girl that showed me a different world.

Me: So leave this girl now before Kate or anyone finds out.

Kyle: You don't understand, I fell for this girl. I love her.

Me: So, you don't love Kate anymore? I mean, your heart is not for Kate anymore?

Kyle: No. I still love Kate. She means the world to me. It's just that, the new girl gives me the world.

Me: Now you're having 2 worlds, ha! Who is this girl anyway? Does she know you have a girlfriend? Hey, does she love you, too?

Kyle: It happens and I can't get out. Her name is Ella and she doesn't know a lot about me coz all she knows is just to love me.

Me: You are so unfair, Kyle! Before anything gets worse, you have to choose one.

Kyle: I know. That's why I'am telling you all of this. It's really hard for me what to do.

Me: You have to choose really.

Kyle: I can't leave Kate but I can't bear losing Ella. Kate is all my life. Ella shows me another life. I can't hurt Kate but I don't want to see Ella sad.

Me: Someone's got to be hurt no matter what, Kyle.

Kyle: You're wrong. Everyone in this mess is gonna be hurt.

Me: You're right. You have to clear your mind tonight, Kyle. Take time to realize things. Whatever is your choice, I'm still your friend. Just listen to your heart.

Kyle: Thanks. Whatever is my choice, I know it's gonna be harder. So I'm gonna need you more after this.
