Girl in the Rain

Once there was a girl who was walking under the rain
Alone
Soaked up
Tears flowing on her face with the rain drops
Thunders rumbling
She got more scared
Lightning striking
Still she walked alone
Along the way
She met someone
Quite hard to explain
But she forgot the gray sky
There were sunshine and rainbows
Fireflies and butterflies
She realized she burned again
The rain fell again
This time washing away the fire
Flames of love turned to ashes
Once again, there she was…
Walking under the rain
Alone and soaked up
Tears flowing on her face with the rain drops
Flashbacks of dancing under the rain
With the reason of her smile
Didn’t care who could see ‘em
Swirling round and round
Once there was a girl who loved the rain so much
Sweet memories couldn’t bring back the smile
Warm tears flowed instead
Breaking her gentle heart
Coz no more dancing now
Once there was a girl
Who loved dancing in the rain
Hope she could burn again….

This is beautiful though, you may want to slightly edit a couple of words to help this flow better. Something like:
Once there was a girl, walking in the rain
Alone
Soaked up
Tearful rain drops flowing on her face
Rumbling thunder
She got scared
Lightning strikes
Still, she walked alone
Just my opinion of course, but either way, this is a very powerful piece and I enjoyed this very much

This is very nice. There's nothing like love or the absence that helps words flow. They sometimes intermingle with tears. Thanks for beautiful poetry.
