4 p.m.

4 p.m. was my favorite time

you used to wait for her

I used to wait for mine

time was flyin’

who would have thought

that’s the right place

and the right time

who would have thought

I’d cling to you

in one corner of wrong avenue

And so the clock hit to four

you were smilin’ at me more and more

in your stare I’ve seen what you’ve been dreamin’

and your voice told me I should believe it…

‘t was 4 o’clock in the aftie

when time runs so slow

still my boyfriend won’t show up

and no sign of your girl though

who would have thought

we’d share that moment

odd excitement

who would have thought

I’d cling to you

in one corner of wrong avenue

And so the clock hit to four

you were talkin’ to me more and more

in your angst I’ve felt what you’ve been missin’

and your sad face told me I should change it…

We met again at 4 p.m.

but just like any other time

4 p.m. couldn’t be forever

Everythin’ ended out of line
